When I get the chance (in season) cook a traditional dish of the cuisine of Friuli. One of my favorites, among other things, I find it very well, is the SALAMI WITH VINEGAR .
If you like sausage, I recommend it: it is a recipe for quick and easy, but success is assured!
Ingredients for 4:
- a fresh salami, sausage than a month
- two white onions
- oil to taste water as needed
- a pinch of salt ½ cup white wine vinegar
- four slices of polenta prepared precedentemete
Difficulty: Easy
Preparation:
Cut the onions into thin slices, in order to get the rings.
Put on a pan a little oil and pour the onions, cook them slowly, over low heat to make them stay beautiful white. If you were to dry up, add some water to flush, so that finish in the kitchen. Arrange it with salt.
Meanwhile grill the polenta slowly, on both sides.
Cut four slices of salami about 2 cm thick, leaving the skin (otherwise then split). Place them in the pan along with onions and raise the heat, after a couple of minutes rigiratele (cook them very quickly). After another couple of minutes, sprinkle everything with the vinegar, wait a bit and then withdraws Serve.
Place a slice on each plate of polenta, Lie down on a slice of salami and even a little above of onions. Wet the whole with the sauce that has formed e. .. Buon Appetito!!
Tips:
- serve this dish hot beautiful
- agodolce the contrast between vinegar and onions goes wonderfully with the flavor of salami
- I recommend to combine a full-bodied red wine
- this dish is excellent as an appetizer but if you want to serve simply as a second than doubled the doses
