Hierarchy Angels, Archangels
According to Christian tradition of medieval origin, the angels are arranged in different orders, called Angelic Choirs.
The most influential classification was discussed by Pseudo-Dionysius in the fourth or fifth century, in the book De Caelestia hyerarchia. In this work, the author had indicated some passages of the New Testament, specifically Ephesians 6.12 and Colossians 1.16, on the basis of constructing a schema of three Hierarchies, Spheres or Triads of angels, in which each tree contains Order three or Cori. In descending order of power are these:
* First Hierarchy: Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones or Ophanim
* Second Hierarchy: Dominions, Virtues, Powers
* Third Hierarchy: Principalities, Archangels, Angels
During the Middle Ages, many schemes were proposed, some explaining or expanding to Pseudo-Dionysius, others suggesting completely different classifications. Here's an example:

First Sphere Seraphim

Archangels Archangels are usually considered the second lowest order of the first sphere, these angels tend to be the greatest directors and administrators sent from Heaven.
